Gardner families can grab all-you-can-eat pancakes for $10 on Saturday, Oct. 10, while helping USD 231 students in need.

The Gardner Edgerton Schools Foundation hosts its annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Gardner Edgerton High School Commons, 425 N. Waverly in Gardner. Children age 5 and under eat free. Walk-ups are welcome, but the foundation encourages buying tickets in advance.

Every dollar raised goes to the WE CARE Fund, which provides direct financial help to USD 231 students and families facing unexpected hardship. The fund has covered rent, utilities, gasoline and school fees for district families, according to the foundation's website. The menu includes pancakes, sausage and drinks.

American Family Insurance agent Tim Miller and the Gardner Rotary Club are presenting sponsors.

Residents who cannot attend can make a tax-deductible donation to the WE CARE Fund through the foundation's ticketing page.
